Antawn Jamison had 23 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers made 16 3-pointers, one shyof the club record, to hand the New Jersey Nets their fourth-straight loss with a 98-82 home win on Sunday.
Daniel Gibson, Alonzo Gee and rookie Kyrie Irving combined for 11 of the 16 3-pointers, the most the Cavs have hit in a game since also making 16 against the Los Angeles Clippers on Jan. 31, 2010. They shot 62 percent (16 of 26) on 3-pointers Sunday night.
Gibson finished with 19 points and Irving had 13 points, four assists and four rebounds. The Cavs, who lead the East in bench scoring at 45.3 points, received 47 from the reserves Sunday.
The Cavs have twice made 17 3-pointers in a game, most recently on March 9, 2009 against the Phoenix Suns.
Deron Williams had 16 points but continued his shooting woes (6 of 16) and Anthony Morrow had 15 points off the bench for the Nets, who played their third game in four nights and lost them all.
