Al Jefferson had 25 points and 13 rebounds and Gordon Hayward had 23 points off the bench for Utah, which handed the Cavs their sixth straight loss.
Kyrie Irving had 22 points, and 21 of them came in the second half following an 0 for 6 start to the night. Antawn Jamison added 22 points, but the Cavs were smashed on the boards 46-30 and again failed at controlling Jefferson.
Byron Scott was adamant before the game he wanted someone other than Jefferson to beat the Cavs. While Hayward happily obliged by tying his season high and more than doubling his scoring average (9.4), Jefferson finished the season scoring 55 points and grabbing 25 rebounds in two games against the Cavs this season.
