Final: Nets 122, Cavs 117 OT
NEWARK, N.J.: Lester Hudson had a career-high 26 points, including 18 points and the shot that forced overtime, but the Cavs lost for the 13th time in their last 15 games.
Hudson, playing on the final day of his 10-day contract with the club, has scored 49 points in his last two games. His corner 3-pointer with three-tenths remaining tied the game at 109. He hit the shot while falling out of bounds and with Deron Williams' hand in his face, but the Cavs couldn't capitalize in overtime despite the Nets missing their final five shots.
Antawn Jamison tied a career high with 34 points and Donald Sloan set a career high with 14 assists. The Cavs had an opportunity to force a second overtime, but another 3-point attempt by Hudson with three seconds left was off the mark.
