Gameblog: Cavs at Memphis Grizzlies - Abbreviated Version
A little wi-fi problem is never really a good thing. It was almost as horrible as this game. Apologies for the abbreviated blog, but after tonight's game what's left to say? This one wasn't pretty.
Post-mortem: Grizzlies 111, Cavs 109
The good: Yes, actually, there was some good to come of this - LeBron James' performance proved masterful. Scoring 43 points, grabbing 13 rebounds and dishing out six assists isn't a bad night of work. to the bad.
The bad: Only two others in the starting lineup showed up in the game - Shaquille O'Neal (16 points) and Mo Williams - they got nothing out of the shooting guard with Anthony Parker and J.J. Hickson didn't offer much in the way of offense either, each scoring two points in the game. Daniel Gibson's 13 off the bench helped to allay some of that and LeBron's performance certainly help, but that offensive output is needed.
The ugly: They committed 21 turnovers that led to 20 of the Grizzlies 111 points. That pretty much sums up the ugliness.
Misc. notes: The Grizzlies snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Cavaliers...they also broke the Cavs' eight-game string of holding opponents to fewer than 100 points.
