Cavs 113, Raptors 101
Kind of a yawner tonight even though the Raptors gave the Cavs a game for much of the first half, but after the start of the third quarter, things never really appeared in doubt.
That's because offensively, the Cavs were on their game. They had seven players score in double figures, none more than 20 points, but they had a total of 40 assists on 84 possessions. They shot a blistering 56 percent
Game: Cavs vs. Toronto Raptors
TV: FSOhio Radio: WAKR (1590 AM); WTAM (1100 AM), WHBC (1480 AM).
Cavs: LeBron James (F); Antawn Jamison (F); J.J. Hickson (C); Anthony Parker (G); Mo Williams (G). Raptors: Chris Bosh (F); Antoine Wright (F); Andrea Bargnani (C); Sonny Weems (G); Jose Calderon (G).
Injured and inactive:
Cavs: Shaquille O'Neal (right thumb); Delonte West (back spasms); Sebastian Telfair (ruptured groin).
Officials: Joe DeRosa, Path Fraher and Ed Malloy.
Coach Mike Brown said at this point he's not looking to rest anyone or alter minutes, but what is ironic is that the Cavs control the destiny of two teams. The first being the Raptors tonight and Chicago on Thursday. Both teams are fighting for the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs with the Raptors being up a game right now. Chicago has Milwaukee tonight, a team that will play without its starting center Andrew Bogut.
In short: Toronto has a lot to play for and they always play the Cavaliers tough. They beat the Cavs in Toronto and lost by just eight at The Q.
