The Cavaliers aren't going to the playoffs. We all know that. But they still haven't officially been eliminated, although they came close tonight.
The New York Knicks' loss to the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday simply kept their playoff lives on life support and prolonged the inevitable. The next Cavs loss or Knicks win will officially eliminate the Cavs from the playoffs for the second consecutive season.
But look on the bright side: Their victory over the Charlotte Bobcats tonight tied last season's win total of 19, and they've done it in a lockout-shortened season.
