LeBron's elbow
Danny Ferry doesn't believe LeBron James will need surgery on his elbow, but conceded that if it had happened during the regular season, the Cavaliers would've shut him down for a few weeks.
Ferry said the injury first started bothering James before the April 8 game at Chicago, when James was a late scratch. He sat out the final four regular season games to rest the elbow -- not his body -- but it did little to solve the problem. Ferry said ideally he would've liked the starters to have played the final four regular season games, but Shaquille O'Neal had not been cleared and James' elbow was bothering him too much to risk it.
