The numbers say ''no'' but there's something not quite right about LeBron James' game.
But for those who watch on a day-to-day basis, something appears off. His play in the first two games of the Eastern Conference Semifinals looks hestitant and tentative even.
When asked directly about whether the elbow still bothered him, James brushed off the talk.
''For me I’m going to continue to try to be the player I am and use this elbow not as an excuse. Never use injury as an excuse. Like I said before. If I’m on the court I’m going to try to be productive,'' he said.
Coach Mike Brown said that he isn't aware of any problems that James is having either.
''His elbow is fine. He has not said anything to me. Our trainers have not said anything to me,'' Brown said. ''If it is bothering him it’s news to me. I’ve not heard anything about it.''
Ultimately James said the entire team was to blame for the loss.
''I feel like tonight I was OK, but as a team all of us were just OK that’s why we got an 'L' against Boston tonight on our court.''
