Media interest soaring

By Jason Lloyd Published: December 2, 2010

Media requests for tonight's game have rivaled an Eastern Conference finals, Cavs officials said this week. The only problem is where to put everybody.

For the playoffs, the Cavs block off a few sections behind one of the baskets for overflow media. But tonight's game is a regular season game and those seats were sold long ago. It has created some interesting problems.

For the first time, not all media members will have reserved seats in the arena bowl. Some who receive credentials just for tonight will have to watch the game on televisions in the dining room and work rooms. Then they'll be granted access to the locker rooms for pregame and postgame interviews.

Just another little interesting twist in what should be an unforgettable night.
