Mysterious LeBron in Vegas story
ESPN has apparently stepped in it again regarding LeBron James. After the network was sharply criticized for its handling of "The Decision," now ESPN.com temporarily ran an unflattering James story today that appeared on the site for only a few minutes before it was yanked down.
In a statement, ESPN's PR department apparently said the story never should have been published. In the article, James is depicted as an overgrown child who refuses to grow up during a night out at Tao, the Venetian's chiq nightclub in Vegas. Surely athletes probably act like this all the time, but James' behavior and his handling of "The Decision" has him under a critical microscope like he's never been before.
