By Jason Lloyd Published: January 28, 2011

Cleveland Cavaliers (8-37) at Denver Nuggets (27-18)
Time: 7:30 p.m.; Venue: Quicken Loans Arena; TV/Radio: FS Ohio/WAKR

Cavs probable starters: PG Ramon Sessions, SG Daniel Gibson, SF Christian Eyenga, PF Antawn Jamison, C J.J. Hickson
Nuggets probable starters: PG Chauncey Billups, SG Arron Afflalo, SF Carmelo Anthony, PF Kenyon Martin, C Nene
Officials: Bennett Salvatore, Kane Fitzgerald, Courtney Kirkland
Injury report: Cavs -- Anderson Varejao (ankle) out, Leon Powe (knee) out, Mo Williams (hip) out; Nuggets -- Chris Andersen (knee) out, Nene (calf) questionable.

* If the Cavs lose tonight, they will tie the franchise record for most consecutive losses in a season at 19. But the players and coach Byron Scott keep insisting they aren't paying much attention to the milestones.

* The Nuggets' big men are ailing, but should be available tonight. Kenyon Martin is resting a bad knee and not playing on back-to-backs, but Denver has a day off before their next road game. Nene missed Wednesday's game at Detroit with a strained calf, but he's expected back tonight.

* Scott reiterated today he doesn't think it will take the Cavs a decade to turn the franchise around, even though that's what history indicates. He doesn't have concrete reasons why, but he believes with the flexibility in the cap, the trade exception and Dan Gilbert's aggressiveness, it will be enough to slice years off the rebuilding project.

* When the Cavs played at Denver a couple of weeks ago, Nuggets coach George Karl was talking about "reinventing" the team rather than "rebuilding" it -- a reference to the players the Nuggets would acquire in an Anthony deal. Of course, that deal hasn't happened yet and Anthony remains with the Nuggets. "I'm the one person who has always felt there was a window to keep him here," Karl said. "I know how complicated trades can be in the NBA, especially in the middle of a season."
