Notes
* Daniel Gibson will miss tonight's game with a bruised thigh, but Semih Erden could make his debut. Erden has been cleared by the medical staff, but Scott wasn't sure yet if he would play him.
* Gibson hasn't practiced yet, and Scott has a somewhat hard stance that guys coming off injury have to practice at least once before he'll play them. Scott expects Gibson to practice on Monday, meaning he could play Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors.
* The Hornets have dropped three of four. Not surprisingly, Chris Paul has struggled with his shot in each of those losses. He rebounded with 23 points Friday as the Hornets beat the Memphis Grizzlies to cling to the No. 6 seed in the West. When the Cavs faced the Hornets in November, they were dueling with San Antonio as the best team in the league.
