Notebook

* Tyler Zeller returns tonight and will start after battling a 48-hour flu bug, but Dion Waiters remains out and now Daniel Gibson is out with the same bug. Waiters missed shootaround this morning and instead went to the doctor for a checkup. Wayne Ellington is expected to start in place of Waiters.

* Byron Scott said trainer Max Benton was dumping chlorine in the cold tub and disinfecting a number of the communal areas in an effort to eradicate the virus. "We'll probably start wearing gloves and surgical masks, see if we can get through this thing," Scott joked.

* The Jazz are banged up, too. Al Jefferson will miss the game with a sprained ankle, while Mo Williams could make his return after missing 32 games after thumb surgery. If Williams plays, he is expected to start. "We know he has the capability of making shots and putting points on the board, which is probably what they’re missing from the point guard position right now," Scott said. "Earl (Watson) is more of a distributor. He just runs the show, a tough, gritty kid who plays hard and plays good individual defense. But Mo gives them a different element because he can make shots. You don’t know how much rust he’s going to have on his game because he’s missed so many games, but obviously if he comes back tonight it probably gives him a little shot in the arm, too."

* The loss of Jefferson cuts into the Jazz's depth a bit, but they still have a number of bigs to roll out. Scott said the Jazz have averaged 59 rebounds and 23 offensive rebounds in their last two games. They're a team that thrives on the inside game, runs nothing but post-ups all night and "just try to pound the crap out of you every single game," Scott said. "I hope our guys go home and eat a lot of Tabasco sauce and gun powder. You’ve got to be mean and tough tonight."

* The Cavs have scored at least 100 points in nine of their last 13 games. They're averaging 104.9 points since Feb. 2, the second-highest scoring mark in the league.

* This is Utah's second stop on a four-game swing through the East. The Jazz lost at Milwaukee on Monday and have now dropped four of their last five.
