* Daniel Gibson will miss tonight's game with flu-like symptoms -- and no, he didn't just overeat at Christmas. Coach Byron Scott said Gibson was looking a little green at practice on Christmas Day, so trainer Max Benton quickly sent him home. He still isn't feeling well, so he's not in the arena tonight.
* Jamario Moon will start at small forward, with Anthony Parker shifting back to shooting guard to cover for Gibson. Scott likes Moon's length on the perimeter in defending Minnesota's Michael Beasley.
* Beasley didn't play in Minnesota on Dec. 4, when the Timberwolves crushed the Cavs 124-95. Scott was quick to agree it was his lowpoint of the season, but Timberwolves coach Kurt Rambis wouldn't call it their best game. He said he liked the way the Timberwolves competed in two close losses to the Spurs and that it's hard to qualify what defines the "best" game of the season. But it's clear they played really, really well in their 29-point win against the Cavs.
