Samuels scores 14 in win over Siena
CLEVELAND: Samardo Samuels had 14 points, Donald Sloan had 13 points and Dion Waiters had 11 points off the bench as the Cavs beat Siena on Monday, 91-85.
C.J. Miles started over Waiters at shooting guard and had 10 points, three rebounds and three assists. Coach Byron Scott insisted it's too early to read anything into his rotations at this point and simply wants Waiters, the fourth overall pick, to earn the starting job.
Tristan Thompson had 12 points and four rebounds and combined with Miles to spark the Cavs in the third quarter following a sluggish first half.
