Third quarter report
CSKA 70, Cavs 63
* Cavs had multiple defensive breakdowns early in the quarter. Their failure to rotate gave 32-year-old sharpshooter Ramunas Siskauskas plenty of open 3s, and he hit 'em all as Moscow opened double-digit lead. Defense tightened as the quarter progressed and Cavs able to slice into lead.
* Of course, Cavs are without four of their best players in Antawn Jamison, Anthony Parker, Mo Williams and Anderson Varejao. Still, no one wants to lose to a team not even in the league.
* J.J. Hickson missed his first five shots before finally connecting. But he does have five rebounds and four assists.
* Samardo Samuels is averaging a shot every two minutes. Best ratio on the team tonight. Or the worst, depending on how you look at it.
