Thursday's practice notes
I've got a flight to catch, so this is the abbreviated version.
* Mo Williams went through about 75 percent of practice today and took contact for the first time since re-aggravating the groin injury. But his status for tomorrow night at New Orleans still won't be known until closer to tip-off.
* Antawn Jamison said Byron Scott didn't have to mention anything to the players. They know how badly he wants to beat the Hornets tomorrow. "We know the history and we know how sweet it would be to go down there and get a game against a team he coached," Jamison said. "He didn't have to say one word. It's in the back of our minds."
* Christian Eyenga has been sent to the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Development League. This was expected, since he hasn't played in a game yet this season and Erie begins play tomorrow night.
* Byron is trying to downplay the importance of tomorrow night's game, but it's obvious winning this one would mean a little more. Read more about this in tomorrow's Beacon Journal.
Wheels up at 5. See you in New Orleans.
