Point guard Kyrie Irving was diagnosed with a minimally displaced right nasal fracture on Friday, per the Cavaliers.
It's essentially a broken nose. Last year, he fractured his jaw and wore a couple different kinds of masks. Irving said on Friday night that he will wear a clear mask. He thinks it'll last about two weeks.
The injury occurred in the first quarter of Wednesday night's game with Minnesota when Irving took an elbow to the face from Corey Brewer while going for a rebound.
Irving is active for Friday's game with the Charlotte Bobcats (4-4).
