Varejao, Gibson expect to play vs. Raptors
Both Anderson Varejao and Daniel Gibson expect to play tomorrow night against the Toronto Raptors, meaning the Cavaliers should be back at full strength.
Varejao was fitted for his mask on Monday and went through practice with it today. He says he was surprised at how light it was and how it didn't fog up on him. The cheek bone is still tender, so he'll be in the mask for a little while.
Gibson went through a strenuous workout on Monday and woke up fine today. He participated in practice and expects to play tomorrow night. Gibson has missed the last two games with a thigh contusion.
The Raptors (11-22) are struggling in their first year without Chris Bosh, but faring a bit better than the Cavs. The Raptors enjoyed a four-game winning streak in late November, but are riding on two-game losing streak. The Cavs have lost seven straight and 17 of 18.
