KEY STATS - Aeros starting pitcher Josh Tomlin pitched seven shutout innings, allowing just three hits, two walks and struck out six batters.

KEY MOMENTS - The Aeros got on the board with a run in the bottom of the first inning when Cristo Arnal led off with a double, stole third and came home on Nick Weglarz's RBI-groundout...The host got to Reading starting pitcher Mike Stutes for three more runs in the fifth inning thanks to three hits, a pair of walks and an error.

STORM'S STARS - Tomlin's outing Wednesday marked his third consecutive quality start. At 9-5, his nine wins are the most in organization and second in the Eastern League.

UP NEXT - Akron and visiting Reading (Philadelphia Phillies) wrap up this short three-game series tonight at Canal Park at 7:05 p.m. Aeros right-hander Jeanmar Gomez (6-2, 3.31 ERA) and Reading left-hander Joe Savery (11-1, 3.34 ERA) are the scheduled starters.
