Bourn undergoes minor hamstring surgery

Center fielder Michael Bourn underwent surgery to his left hamstring today in Dallas and is expected to resume his normal offseason training program in four-six weeks, after completing rehab that will begin this week at his home in Houston. 

The injury occurrred in the final game of the regular season, when Bourn tried to steal second base in the ninth inning of the 5-1 win at Minnesota.

Dr. Dan Cooper performed the operation, which consisted of a distal hamsring debridement where the tendon attaches behind the left knee.
