Breaking: Twins jump on Carrasco, beat Indians 7-3

The Twins jumped on Carlos Carrasco early, and the Indians never recovered in a 5-1 loss at Progressive Field on Saturday. 

Carrasco gave up three runs in the first inning, highlighted by Brian Dozier's home run to left field on the second pitch of the game, and later surrended a fourth run on a double to Trevor Plouffe.
The Twins then added a fifth run on two passed balls by Yan Gomes in the top of the third inning. They then tacaked on two more runs in the ninth on a Vinne Pestano wild pitch and a Jason Kubel RBI-single.
The Indians scored as Lonnie Chisenhall doubled, advanced to third on a double-play and scored on a wild pitch in the third inning. In the ninth, Asdrubal Cabrera doubled home a run and Yan Gomes scored Michael Brantley on a sacrifice fly. 

Carrasco threw 5.2 innings, allowed four earned runs, five total, and struck out seven.
