Carrasco coming to Akron; Hernandez's ankle in boot

   DETROIT: Carlos Carrasco will test his surgically repaired right elbow in a simulated game at Akron today.

   On Wednesday, he is scheduled to pitch one inning on a rehab assignment the Aeros in the Easteern League playoffs.

   Lonnie Chisenhall (fractured right wrist) played third for Columbus Saturday night. His rehab assignment will shift to Akron after the Clippers' season ends today.

  Roberto Hernandez will wear a boot on his right (sprained) ankle for five to seven days then be re-evaluated.

  The Clippers and Indians ahve extended their player development agreement for two more years, through 2016.
