A look at how the Indians Minor League affiliates fared Friday:
Triple-A Columbus (5-3) - The Clippers game at Louisville was postponded due to rain. They are scheduled to play at 2:05 p.m. Saturday and will make up Friday's game as part of a double header on Sunday.
Double-A Aeros (5-4) - The Aeros lost their third consecutive game in extra innings, dropping a 4-2 decision to visiting Bowie in 10 innings. Indians first baseman Russell Branyan went 1-for-4 with a single in the sixth inning in his first rehab assignment at Akron. Branyan has a scheduled day off for Saturday's 1:35 p.m. game. The veteran's final hurdle is to be able to try to play in back-to-back games before rejoining his teammates in Cleveland.
High Class-A Kinston (3-5) - The K-Tribe lost their third consecutive game and first ever at Winston-Salem's new BB&T Ballpark, committing four errors that each led to an unearned run in a 4-2 defeat by the Dash. RHP Alex White (1-1), the Tribe's first pick in (15th overall) in last year's draft, had another solid start in limiting Winston-Salem to no earned runs on five hits while striking out five batters through 4 1/3 innings.
Low Class-A Lake County (9-0) - The Captains pushed their season-opening winning streak to nine games with a 6-3 win over host Lansing - a game in which all but one starter in the lineup joined the 14-hit attack. SS Kyle Smith led the way with a 3-for-5 effort that included a double and two runs scored. Four other Lake County batters had multiple hits.
