Indians at Orioles: Lineup and notes

By Marla Ridenour Published: May 24, 2014

Indians shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera and Nick Swisher were held out of the lineup for the second consecutive game as the Indians took on the Orioles at Camden Yards.

Cabrera was hit on the left kneecap in the 13th inning of Wednesday's home victory over the Detroit Tigers. He said he fouled a ball off his right big toe during the homestand. An MRI on Cabrera's knee showed nothing and he hopes to be back in the lineup Monday for the first of a three-game series in Chicago against the White Sox.

Swisher said he injured the inside of his right knee when he rounded first base in the 13-inning Tigers game. He said he's been undergoing as much treatment as he can to return to the lineup for what he called a point in the season where he believes the Indians can take off.
