Heres how the Indians minor league affiliates fared Friday:

Triple-A Columbus (2-0) - The Clippers topped Indianapolis 3-2...3B LONNIE CHISENHALL went 2-for-5 with a double, home run and two RBI...CF EZEQUIEL CARRERA went 3-for-4 with a triple, RBI and run scored...RHP JEANMAR GOMEZ gave up just two runs in 5 2/3 innings, but RHP and reliever JOSH JUDY earned the win in an inning of work in which he struck out three batters.

Double-A Akron (1-1) - The Aeros earned their first win of the season via a 6-4 victory over visiting Binghamton...SS JUAN DIAZ went 2-for-5 with with a triple, RBI and two runs scored...CF JORDAN HENRY also went 2-for-5, adding a double, two RBI and a run scored, while LF DONNIE WEBB homored...In his Double-A debut, RHP JOE GARDNER allowed three runs on five hits over six innings in a no-decision...RHP and closer CORY BURNS earned the save by striking out three in the final inning.

High Class-A Kinston (1-0) -The K-Tribe scored two runs in the bottom of the 10th inning to slip past visiting Winston-Salem 7-6...2B RON RIVAS collected three hits and an RBI...C ROBERTO PEREZ had an RBI, walk and two runs scored...LHP DREW POMERANZ, the Indains No. 1 pick in last summer's draft, struck out nine in his professional debut and limited the dash to just two hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Low Class-A Lake County (2-0) - The Captains defeated Great Lakes 2-1 to remain undefeated on the young season...RF JASON SMIT went 2-for-3 with with a triple, walk and run scored...LHP MIKE RAYL allowed just one hit and one walk while striking out five batters in five solid frames in the no decision.
