Triple-A Columbus Clippers (4-0) - The Clippers game at Louisville was postponed due to rain. The teams are slated to play a double header Tuesday beginning at 6 pm at Louisville Slugger Field as Columbus looks to start the season 5-0 for just the second time in team history (the 1979 squad beagn 10-0)...On Sunday, INF CORD PHELPS powered the Clippers with two home runs and four RBI and OF BUBBA BELL recorded Columbus' first four-hit performance of the young season as defending Triple-A Champions defeated Indianapolis 7-5...OF EZEQUIEL CARRERA extended his on-base streak to 20 games Sunday (.424 on-base percentage), after ending the 2010 regular season on a 16-game streak.
Double-A Aeros (2-2) - The Aeros topped visiting Altoona 6-5 when C Chun Chen's two-run double in the seventh inning gave the host the lead for good in a back-and-forth game...Indians CF Grady Sizemore made his third rehab start for the Aeros, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, while DH JASON DONALD was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in his second rehab start. The third Indians rehabber, RHP JOE SMITH, faced five batters and allowed a run on a hit and two walks...RHP BRYAN PRICE recorded the win after tosing 1 1/3 scoreless innings and closer and RHP CORY BURNS recorded his third save in as many opportunities on the young season.
High Class-A Kinston (1-3) - The host K-Tribe dropped a 4-1 decision to Wilmington at Grainger Stadium...LHP GOIVANNI SOTO made his Carolina League debut, pitching 5 2/3 innings in which he gave up two runs on three hits, walked just one batter and struck out eight...CF TYLER HOLT went 1-for-3 with a double and a walk...DH ADAM ABRAHAM went 1-for-3 with a home run.
Low Class-A Lake County (3-2) - Three Captains pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter to lead the way in a 3-1 defeat of Dayton at Classic Park in Lake County's home opener. RHP TREY HALEY, LHP FRANCISCO JIMENEZ and RHP CLAYTON ELHERT blanked the Dragons over nine innings in the victory. Haley started the night by allowing a run in walking two and striking out four in his three-inning stint. Jimenez earned the win by pitching four scoreless innings in which he limited the Dragons to a walk while striking out two. Elhert picked up the save by tossing a perfect eighth and ninth inning to seal the no-hit bid...1B TYLER CANNONwent 2-for-4 with a home run.
