Triple-A Columbus (7-3) - The visiting Clippers cruised to a 10-4 victory over Toledo...CF EZEQUIEL CARRERA went 3-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored...1B JORDAN BROWN also had three RBI...RHP ZACH MCCALLISTER improved to 2-0 with the win, holding the Mud Hens to three runs on four hits over six innings.
Double-A Akron (4-3) - The Aeros were rained out in Reading. A double-header is scheduled for Sunday.
High Class-A Kinston (2-6) - The K-Tribe finally notched their second win of the season with a 5-2 victory over host Winston-Salem in 11 innings...After scoring single runs in the seventh and eighth innings to tie the game and send it into extra innings, Kinston rallied for three runs in the top of the 11th inning for the win...CF ABNER ABREU (2-for-6) and C ROBERTO PEREZ (2-for-4) had multiple hits while JUSTIN TOOLE entered the game as a pinch runner in the 10th inning and went on to drive in two RBI with a double in the game-winning frame...RHP CLAYTON COOK limited the Dash to two runs (one earned) on four hits in 4 2/3 innings...Three relievers compined to pitch the next 6 1/3 shutout innings.
Low Class-A Lake County (6-4) - The Captains defeated host Bowling Green 10-7...DH ALEX LAVISKY went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBI...RF JASON SMIT went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored...RHP TREY HALEY gave up two runs on one hit over two innings to start the game and followed by LHP FRANCISCO JIMENEZ, who allowed two runs on three hits over four innings while striking out six batters. Neither earned a decision.
