Here's a look at how the Tribe's minor league teams fared Monday:

Triple-A Columbus (20-5) - The Clippers put on an offensive display en route to their 12th consecutive victory via a 18-12 win over host Charlotte...That was a good thing for LHP SCOTT BARNES (1-1, 5.40 ERA) who evaded a loss despite dishing up seven runs on 10 hits - including four home runs - in just five innings...The Knights led 9-6 until Columbus rallied for three runs in the seventh inning, highlighted by DH LUIS VALBUENA's double that knotted the score 9-9. Valbuena, the Indians reigning Minor League Player of the Week, had two hits and three RBI as the Clippers used a nine-run eighth inning to pull away...RHP JENSEN LEWIS (3-0, 1.69 ERA) picked up the win despite allowing his first runs of the season - two on four hits in two relief innings...OF EZEQUIEL CARRERA went 4-for-6 with four RBI...3B LONNIE CHISENHALL went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored...INF JASON DONALD had two hits, including his first home run...RF JERAD HEAD added three hits and INF CHAD HUFFMAN contributed two doubles and three runs.

Double-A Akron (12-13) - Aeros closer and RHP CORY BURNS (0-1, 3.38 ERA) suffered his first blown save in eight chances to start the season, allowing two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning as the visitors lost 10-9 to Altoona Curve. The walk-off win was the first by an Aeros opponent this season...OF JORDAN HENRY went 5-for-5 with three runs, two RBI and two stolen bases...SS JUAN DIAZ and C CHUN CHEN each added two doubles and three RBI a piece...In his Akron debut, RHP MARTY POPHAM, who had been called up to Akron earlier in the day from high class-A Kinston, dished up seven runs on 10 hits in the no-decision.

High Class-A Kinston (9-15) - Three unearned runs cost the K-Tribe in a 3-2 loss to Salem...RHP CLAYTON COOK (1-2, 5.09 ERA) was tagged with a no-decision despite pitching six solid frames in which he limited the Red Sox to two unearnend runs on three hits and as many walks...Visiting Kinston, which managed just five hits in the game, tied the score 2-2 in the seventh inning on OF TYLER HOLT’s RBI-double...But RHP JOSE FLORES (0-2, 6.75 ERA ) committed a throwing error in the bottom of the inning on an infield bunt single, allowing two Salem runners to advance into scoring position, the game-winner coming home on an RBI-single.

Low Class-A Lake County (13-12) - The Captains also lost on a walk-off hit Monday, dropping a 4-3 decision to the first-place and host Lansings...Lugnuts' OF STEVE MARISNICK's RBI single in the bottom of the 10th handed the host the win...RHP CLAYTON EHLERT (0-1, 0.96 ERA) took the loss after giving up an unearned run on two hits in the extra frame...OF ANTHONY GALLAS went 2-for-5, including hammering his third homer of the season in the seventh inning that tied the game at 3-3...In the start, RHP STEVEN WRIGHT (0-0, 2.63 ERA) earned the no-decision despite limiting the Lugnuts to two runs (one earned) on four hits, while walking three and fanning three in five innings...INF JESUS AGUILAR, C ALEX MONSALVE and OF CARLOS MONCRIEF each went 2-for-5.
