Here's how the Tribe's minor league teams fared Wednesday:

Triple-A Columbus (32-14) - The Clippers enjoyed a scheduled day off...Columbus is riding a five-game winning streak abnd owns the best record in the International League. The team also leads the IL in batting average (.288), runs scored (276), RBI (254), SLG% (.459), OB% (.374) & base on balls (193)… RHP ZACH McALLISTER, the Indians Minor League Co-Player of the Week, owns a 7-0 record that is tops in the league. His ERA is 2.42, having limited opponents to 14 earned runs in 52 innings that spans eighth starts.

Double-A Akron (22-24) - The host Aeros contest with Harrisburg was suspended by rain in the top of the second inning with the score knotted at 1-1 at Canal Park. The game will be made up as part of a doule header Thursday...OF TIM FEDROFF, the Eastern League’s Player of the Week and Indians Minor League Co-Player of the Week, extended his hitting streak to 18 games with a two-run double Tuesday... During his hitting streak, Fedroff is batting .478 (33-for-69) with 16 RBI and 14 runs scored...On the season Fedroff is batting .376 with 23 runs scored, eight doubles, three triples,  two home runs and 23RBI in 41 games. He also owns a .938 OPS (.428 OBP, .510 SLG) and ranks among EL leaders in batting average (first), hits (56, tied for second & on-base percentage (.428, second).

High Class-A Kinston (22-23) - -Each of the K-Tribe's starting nine reached base at least once in Kinston’s 13-7 rout of host Potomac as Kinston completed its first series sweep of the year and have now won three consecutive series while winning eight of its last nine games...INF TYLER CANNON began the rout with a two-out, bases-clearing triple in the first inning. The extra-base hit parade continued in the second inning when the Indians batted around the order....INF CASEY FRAWLEY belted his team-leading fifth home run of the year, while INF ADAM ABRAHAM, INF JUSTIN TOOLE and C DOUG PICKENS all collected RBI doubles as after only  six outs, Kinston led 8-0...LHP GIOVANNI SOTO picked up the win, despite surrendering six runs (five earned) on 11 hits in 5 2/3 innings. Five of the six runs he allowed came in the third and fourth innings and cut Kinston’s lead to 8-5...But in the fifth inning, Frawley drove in a run on a fielder’s choice and OF BO GREENWELL put the fgame out of reach with his thrird home run of the season...RHP JOSE FLORES worked a perfect ninth to preserve the win. In the offensive outburst, Kinston set season highs in runs (both inning and game), hits in an inning, extra base hits, batters in an inning, home runs, doubles and walks. Further, seven of the Indians RBI came with two outs - including two of Frawley’s game-high five RBI.

Low Class-A Lake County (20-24) - The Captains game against South Bend was postponed due to inclement weather. It is scheduled to be made up today as part of a doubleheader Thursday...Lake County leads the Midwest League in doubles (92), total bases (594), slugging percentage (.398) and OPS (.731). The Captains are also second in the league in hits (384) and on-base percentage (.333) … OF ANTHONY GALLAS leads the MWL with a .358 batting average. He is also tied for first in hits (53), tied for first in doubles (19), second in on-base perentage (.424), second in slugging percentage (.568), third in extra-base hits (23) and third in total bases (84). He has been on base 25 consecutive games…LHP MIKE RAYL (4-0, 1.96 ERA) is tied for seventh in the MWL in wins and is in the top 10 in ERA.
