Pregame Notes:

THREE GAMES IN THREE DAYS– The Indians and Reds face each other for the first three spring training games, a perk of being neighbors and co-hosts of Goodyear Ballpark.

TRIBE PITCHING ORDER – After Bauer, the following Tribe pitchers are scheduled to throw: Aaron Harang, Nick Hagadone, Colt Hynes, T.J. House, C.C.Lee, J.C. Ramirez and Preston Guilmet.

Thursday, the Indians are scheduled to start right-hander Justin Masterson followed by Corey Kluber, Carlos Carrasco, Tyler Cloyd, David Aardsma, Josh Outman, Blake Wood and Mike Zagurski.

BAKER OUT, PRICE IN– Veteran skipper Dusty Baker is gone after six seasons at the helm of the Reds, paving the way for Bryan Price to make his major league managerial debut. Price, who has not managed at any level, is a long time pitching coach.

SIMON SAYS START– According to the Reds MLB.com writer Mark Sheldon, reliever Alfredo Simon is starting for the Reds today so that Price can take a look at him as a possible replacement in the rotation in the event that injured right-hander Mat Latos (left knee) isn't healthy in time to start the regular season. Right-hander Johnny Cueto is slated to start Thursday, followed by right-hander Homer Bailey on Friday.
