Notes: Manager Terry Francona said he thinks Nyjer Morgan has been awake since about 4:30 this morning, but he's hitting leadoff today. Catcher George Kottaras also gets his first start and will be hitting ninth.

Morgan was called up today and RP Nick Hagadone was optioned to Triple-A. The Indians will have eight relief pitchers, including Carlos Carrasco, who could easily throw multiple innings if needed.

Michael Bourn said he thinks he can return in a couple of days. Francona said the training staff thinks he might be available tomorrow, though that might be "ambitious."

Jason Giambi (right calf) said it's a little tight but he's OK and is available to pinch hit. It sounds like Francona would like to rest him today but could didn't rule out a pinch-hitting situation.
