Masterson forced out in second with injury

  CLEVELAND: Justin Masterson was forced to leave today's game against the Orioles in the second inning with soreness in his left rib cage.

 On his second pitch to Matt Wieters, leading off the inning, manager Terry Francona and head trainer Lonnie  Soloff went to the mound to check on Masterson.

 He stayed in the game but gave up a single to Wieters. Out came Francona and Soloff again, and this time Masterson was sent ot the dugout with an injury.

He was replaced by Preston Guilmet.
