MLB Network highlights Tribe

By jcfortun Published: March 16, 2009

The MLB Network's 30 Clubs in 30 Days finally made its way to Goodyear today as it profiled the Indians.

The show initially aired today at 5:30, but have no fear if you missed it. Plenty of re-runs are scheduled for the next few days, starting tonight at 11 p.m. ET.

Tomorrow the episode will air at 6AM, 8AM, 10AM, 12PM and 4:30PM.

I'm sure it will be on more too, so get your TIVO's or DVR's ready!

I will snoop around the internet a little bit and see if I can find a video of it too, although I know the MLB is pretty tight with its copyrighted material.

I guess this is as good a time as ever to find out what some of the thoughts are on MLB Network.

Personally, I am hooked to the classic games. A few weeks back they aired a June 24, 1984 game between the Cardinals and the Cubs.

It was an NBC game of the week fomr Wrigley Field with Bob Costas on the commentary. Ryan Sandberg hit a solo home run in the ninth to tie the score, then hit a two-run blast in the 11 to tie the score again before the Cubs won a wild one.

One of my good friends already told me I was sick for enjoying the game so much. The game did originally air five months before I was born, but what I can say? I am a sucker for classic baseball.

As far as the commentary and highlights go, it sure is nice to have a choice other than ESPN.

What do you all think of the Network? Got a favorite show or a favorite moment from it yet? Or is it the worst thing to happen to baseball since the Black Sox scandal?
