Right-hander Aaron Harang will start a 'B' game against Chicago White Sox minor leaguers and right fielder Ryan Raburn will DH.

Here's what manager Terry Francona said about right-hander Trevor Bauer. Bauer threw two innings Monday against the Angels and gave up seven runs (six earned), seven hits, walked two, struck out one and gave up a home run to Collin Cowgill.

Asked about his post-game comment that no one was giving up on Bauer, Francona said, "I just tried to answer the question. He had a tough outing. I wanted to drive home the fact that there are going to be bumps in the road and the last thing we’re ever going to do is bail on him. We’re going to continue to, whether it’s fight through it, work through it, communicate through it and get to the point where he’s the finished product. It may not always be easy. That’s kind of all I was saying."

Francona said he didn't mean to imply that there was anything drastic in the works with Bauer.

"No, no," Francona said. "He’s worked really hard to get his delivery, you see the way he’s letting the ball go. Now we’ve got to work on fastball command and that’s something that is front and center and he understands that. Now we just have to get there."
