  • Indians manager Terry Francona said he's batting Cabrera leadoff so he can perhaps get an extra at-bat before the regulars are lifted. "I wanted to play him back-to-back games. He took a couple nice swings yesterday, wanted a chance to get on a little bit of a roll," Francona said. "If he leads off, he can get maybe that third at-bat without staying out there real long."
  • Francona said rightfielder Ryan Raburn could play Monday in Goodyear against the Los Angeles Angels. Raburn suffered a bruised left knee when he ran into the wall Friday against the Chicago Cubs in Cubs Park. "He’s doing well. I think he’s probably play tomorrow," Francona said. "We’ll see. We’ll reserve the right to change that."
