* Some 20 minutes before the start of Saturday's scheduled game time, the Indians made a late lineup change, scratching 3B Lonnie Chisenhall "due to illness" and inserting Mike Aviles at Chisenhall's place at third base.

* Earlier in the day, the Tribe made a pair of roster moves that involved pitchers, But it's the same pitching swap they've made most of the season everytime the fifth spot in the rotation comes around.

This time, right-handed starter Josh Tomlin was sent down to Triple-A Columbus and right-hander Zach McAllister was called up from the Clippers.

The move came a day after Tomlin (5-7, 4.47 ERA) dished up four runs (three earned) - including a pair of solo home runs - in a 6-4 loss to the host Royals. Meanwhile, McAllister (3-5, 5.28 ERA).
