CLEVELAND: How much can Grady Sizemore impact the Tribe's ability to stay in the race?
Sizemore returned to the lineup today after being on the disabled list since July 18 with a bone bruies in his right knee and a sports hernia that required surgery. He is healthy enough to play, but he won't play every day.
""Grady will play a certain number of days a week,'' manager Manny Acta said. ""There is a possibility that he could DH (when Jim Thome takes a day off), but when Grady is off he's off, completely off, because it takes him a lot of work to get going. So there will be no pinch hitting or anything like that.''
Sizemore was asked if he was 100 percent healthy and said, ""I wouldn't say 100 percent. Nobody's ever 100 percent. I'm still working through the injuries. I'm sure I'll be a little rusty, but I feel good, and I feel strong.''
In other injury news, Jack Hannahan will miss at least five to seven days with a strained calf, an injury he sustained running the bases Sunday in Kansas City.
