A look at how the Indians Minor League affiliates fared Thursday:

Triple-A Columbus (74-59) - The visiting Clippers lopped Louisville 5-2...RHP Paolo Espino (2-2, 4.70 ERA) limited the Bats two runs while scattering six hits over seven innings for the win...DH Jordan Brown homered...RF Jose Constanza went 4-for-5 with two triples, two runs scored and an RBI.

Double-A Akron (67-64) - Host Akron had 13 hits and used a six-run seventh inning to put the finishing touches on a 12-0 shutout of Erie...RHP Alex White (8-7, 2.28 ERA) held the SeaWolves to three harmless hits over seven dominating innings while striking out five to earn the win...RF John Drennen went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs scored, a home run and a double to lead the way on the Aeros' big offensive night.

High Class-A Kinston (29-30 in second half) - Host Kinston defeated Frederick 9-5...RHP Joe Mahalic gave up four runs on eight hits over five innings but did not figure into the decision...C Chun Chen and LF Bo Greenwell each homered and drove in three RBI.

Low Class-A Lake County (28-31 in second half) - Visiting Lake County shut out Bowling Green 4-0...LHP Francisco Jimemez held the host scoreless over 4 1/3 innings while striking out six and RHP Preston Guilmet (4-1, 2.31 ERA) earned the win by striking out six more and allowing just three hits over 2 2/3 scoreless frames...LF Tyler Holt went 2-for-3 with three RBI, a double and run scored.

Short-season Mahoning Valley (28-38) - Host Mahoning Valley was on the wrong end of a 10-1 defeat by State College...RHP Alex Kaminsky (5-5, 2.71 ERA) took the loss despite holding the visitors to two runs (one earned) on three hits and five strikeouts in five innings...SS Nicholas Bartolone, 1B Jesus Aguilar and CF Brian Heere were the only Scrappers to manage hits on the night.
