* Brantley has hit safely in 17 consecutive home games, the Tribe's longest such streak since Roberto Alomar recorded 18 straight from Sept. 3-Oct. 1, 2000. That matched Kenny Lofton's franchise record for Progressive Field, set July 31-Sep.t 10, 1996. The longest streak by any player at this ballpark is 22 games by Elvis Andrus of the Texas Rangers. (That streak is still active.)

* Brantley's home streak is the longest in the majors this season. In that span, he's hit .400 with five doubles, six home runs, 17 RBI and an 1.220 OPS.

* The Tigers' Jackson and Victor Martinez will be two to watch against McAllister. In his career, Jackson is hitting .538 (7 for 13) with two RBI against the Indians' right-hander, while Martinez carries a .545 average (6 for 11) with three doubles and five RBI. Among players who have at least 10 at-bats against McAllister, Martinez's average ranks second, Jackson's third.
