The team took the 50-minute flight from Phoenix, landing at LAX at two in the afternoon and went directly to the Dodger Stadium. After spending little more than eight hours in Los Angeles, the team returned to Phoenix, landing about 1:30 A.M.
Apparently, the trip was a fincancial success for both teams. Attendance was 25,313, and the Indians took home an undisclosed amount of cash, which is why they agreed to make the trip.
