A look at how the Indians Minor League affiliates fared Tuesday:
Triple-A Columbus (8-5) - Clippers starter and RHP Hector Rondon lasted just 3 2/3 innings, giving up seven runs on nine hits - including three home runs - as Columbus lost host Indianapolis 9-4....DH Carlos Santana went 1-for-4 with a double and run scored...CF Trevor Crowe was the only Clippers batter to get multiple hits, going 2-for-4...2B Anderson Hernandez hit a home run.
Double-A Aeros (6-7) - The struggling Aeros managed just two hits in a 2-0 defeat by visiting Altoona, 3B Lonnie Chisenhall breaking up Altoona's no-hit bid with a double with one out in the sixth inning...The only other batter to get a hit was 2B Cord Phelps...LHP and starter Connor Graham lasted just 4 2/3 innings, allowing just one earned run but issuing five walks...Aeros pitching has walked 18 batters over the last two games.
High Class-A Kinston (4-8) - The K-Tribe shutout host Wilmington 4-0, led by a 2-for-4 performance by 2B Jason Kipnis. The Indians second pick in last year's draft went 2-for-5 with a run scored...LHP Nick Hagadone (part of the Victor Martinez trade to Boston) did not allow a run and struck out seven batters in 4 2/3 innings, but did not figure into the decision as LHP T.J. McFarland picked up the win.
Low Class-A Lake County (11-2) - The Captains lost just their second game of the season via a 7-5 defeat by visiting Great Lakes...3B Jeremie Tice led Lake County's offensive attack, going 2-for-3 with an RBI...LF Bo Greenwell was 1-for-4 with two runs scored...DH Chun-Hsiu Chen was also 1-for-4, adding two RBI.
