Low Class-A Lake County (11-13 in second half) - Host Lake County lost 6-4 to Burlington...RHP Trey Haley (5-5, 5.13 ERA) allowed five runs (including two home runs) on four hits over 4 2/3 innings to take the loss...DH Kyle Smith drove in a team-high two RBI with a double...3B Adam Abraham went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a run scored and RBI.
Short-season Mahoning Valley (13-19) - Visiting Mahoning Valley topped State College 6-4 in extra innings, scoring two runs in the 11th inning for the win...LHP Mike Rayl limited the Spikes to one earned run on four hits over five innings but did not factor into the decision...SS Kevin Fontanez went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a double.
