Arrest of Athens protestor spawns new group
Charges are still pending against an Athens County woman arrested at a protest at an Athens County injection well.
But the arrest of Madeline ffitch has led to the formation of a new eco-group, Appalachia resist!
The 31-year-old woman from Dover Township faces a fifth-degree felony for blocking access to an Athens County injection well on June 26.
