Blue Racer Midstream is seeking expedited Ohio approval at its proposed natural gas-processing plant in Monroe County.
The company is seeking approval to install electric lines from the Ohio Power Siting Board.
The plans call for work to begin in early June and be completed by August at Berne for the mew processing plant.
It would initially handle 200 million cubic feet of natural gas. Two additional units are planned, each handling an additiional 200 million cubic feet.
Blue Racer Midstream owns and operates the Natrium processing complex on the Ohio River in Natrium, W. Va.
It handles large volumes of natural gas and liquids from Ohio's Utica shale.
