A small protest against drilling was staged on Sunday by protestors at a drilling site in Pennsylvania's Moshannon State Forest.
The blockade began Sunday morning and ended late Sunday when police used a cherry-picker to remove two tree-sitters.
It was unclear if anyone was arrested.
The protest was organized by a group that calls itself Marcellus Earth First.
The blockade kept the drilling company, EQT, away from the drilling site, at least temporarily, due to safety concerns.
