Carroll Concerned Citizens will begin volunteer training for water sentinels at 7 p.m. April 19 at the Church of Christ-Christian Disciples in Carrollton.
The church is at 353 Moody Ave.
Volunteers in the new grass-roots gropgram will learn the basics of water testing and water monitoring near natural gas wells and coal mines.
All equipment and training will be provided at no cost.
