Chesapeake schedules April 5 job fair in Jackson Township

Chesapeake Energy Corp. is holding a job fair on April 5 in Stark County.

The event, announced by U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University Center at Kent State University’s Stark Campus, 6000 Frank Ave. NW, Jackson Township.

The company is seeking experienced, full-time employees: floormen, field technicians, pumpers, compressor mechanic trainees, equipment operators, electronic technicians, maintenance technicians, pipeline technicians, facility operators and service technicians.

Military veterans are encouraged to attend, but all qualified applicants will be considered.
