That could be good news or bad news for Pennsylvania. It depends on who you ask.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, CEO Aubrey McClendon may push a new strategy calling for even more drilling into the Marcellus shale in southwest Pennsylvania, plus nearby areas of eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia.
That's good news for drillers and job seekers. But additional drilling has environmentalists concerned.
