Pennsylvania’s Auditor General doesn’t have an official report yet.
But in an interview with the Scranton Times-Tribune’s editorial board last week, Eugene DePasquale suggested that there may be flaws with how the state's Department of Environmenttal Protection is handling water pollution issues related to natural gas drilling.
“The only thing I could say is, it’s a good thing we’re doing the audit,” he told the Times-Tribune without offering further details about the findings.
